Global Surgery Student Alliance
University of Houston

Our mission is to educate, inspire, and unite students through engagement and mentorship in global surgery, anesthesia & OB/GYN.

We believe that the pandemic has illuminated the importance of knowledge of global health, and we hope that the Global Student Surgery Alliance will further engage your interest in this field.

Some of our goals include spreading awareness about global surgery, stimulating discussion about increasing the accessibility of safe and affordable surgical care worldwide and building a community of students with similar goals.
